We buy, sell, crack, and clean machine harvested pecans. We offer a variety of products from in-shell pecans, shelled pecan halves and pieces, and cracked pecans. Our new crop of pecans is normally available mid to late October.
We are family owned and operated and have been in business for 35 years in our current location. Our family has been buying pecans for four generations. It all started with Great Granddaddy Morehead traveling around the countryside buying pecans on the back of a pickup truck. We welcome any size load. We are thankful for each and every customer who walks in our front door.

Cook in the microwave on high for 6 1/2 minutes, stopping to stir halfway through. The mixture will boil, so handle with care to avoid burning. After 6 1/2 minutes, stir well coating all of the pecans, then remove from the microwave. The caramel should be thickened and beginning to form along the sides of the bowl. If the caramel is still runny, just cook a little longer. Microwave in additional 1 minute increments.
Allow to cool on the counter for 15 seconds. Mix in the vanilla and stir well. Use a teaspoon , tablespoon, or small ice cream scoop to scoop onto butter waxed paper or parchment paper.

1 tsp water
Directions:
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
In a medium bowl, whisk the egg white, vanilla and water together until frothy. Add the pecans and gently toss until the pecans are well coated. Add the sugar and cinnamon mixture and toss until pecans are covered.
Spread the pecans out in a single layer on prepared baking sheet. Bake for about 40-45 min., stirring every 15 min. The sugar mixture will harden on the pecans.
Remove from the oven and let the pecans cool on the baking sheet. When completely cool, store in an airtight container for up to 1 month.
